A Better Body Rocks with Barre

It has been around for a very long time, for as long as there has been a ballet, there has been Barre.  Although, it has become the new "fitness craze", and it seems all of celeb-hood has latched  on to it, the concept of Barre is nothing new.  A Better Body Rocks focuses on the use of traditional ballet postures and merges those exercises with strength-training, isometrics, and Pilates.  Basically, the barre is used as a support to stay balanced, while doing exercises that focus on toning and strength.    Isometrics is simply the targeting, isolating, and moving a specific group of muscles while holding the rest of the  body as still and quiet as possible.  This isolated movement is combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. By incorporating light, handheld weights during reps, burn is increased.  And, mats are used for targeted core workouts.
