If you have not yet read The Blue Zones, you should. First published in 2008, my husband was seemingly among the first to know of it, before it even hit the bookstores. He has an uncanny knack for finding things that are going to be big, before they are big. Creating a Blue Zone in your home is what this is page is all about. Fitness is not only having a good physique. Being fit & healthy includes your mind, body, spirit, and environment. Granted we can only do so much to the larger picture of the the envrionment around our home, but the environment of our home is in our control and that is where we begin.
Being in the Blue Zone is a way of life. You can create a Blue Zone inside & outside, and you can do it a little at a time. It is simply a matter of committing to simple changes in the way you think about life and what sustains your body, mind, & home, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
